The Louvre

From the plaza...
and from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Gazing through the glass pyramid.
This is Maat, my favorite Egyptian goddess. She represents truth and justice. When a pharoah dies, his heart is weighed in a balance against a feather from her wings, a feather of truth. If his heart is light, he goes to paradise. But if his heart is heavy with evil deeds, he is punished, and his heart is fed to Amit, a little monster god. It was a pretty bad way to go.
She is Victory. I think. Whoever she is, she's beautiful.
She needs no words.
And here we have Kieron, standing in front of the resting place of the Holy Grail. Yet another awesome female, interred at the Louvre. :0)
