Save your money.
And then go to France. I have to say that this was probably the vacation of my life. It will take days and days to tell the story. Above, Montmartre, a little artsy colony on a rocky little hill high above Paris. It was Halloween evening and we had visited the Basilica of Sacre Coeur which was just behind us. (Perhaps you've seen "Amelie"? This is where she leads the boy on the chase--blue arrows up the steps to Sacre Coeur). I'll post lots of pics later, but wanted to start with this because it was probably my favorite place. The French people are good-natured and kind--they were happy to help me in spite of my halting little French phrases and lapses into English. And Greg functioned almost totally in French, good man that he is. The kids had a great time--we got to see almost everything on "the list". (Alas, we couldn't find Michelangelo in the Louvre!)
