Living in Wales

Tuesday, September 12, 2006

Ok, so I've gotten some requests...

for more pictures of our Welsh/English vacation and of Greg himself (who is often behind the camera, unless it's pictures of things like tarts and potato chips). Why you all want to see these things over slugs in my garden is a mystery to me.... ;0)

These are the cloisters of Salisbury Cathedral. Muy hermosa.
Here he is. Looking good. Probably telling me how to adjust the manual knobs on the Pentax.
These are the cliffs at Penarth which is a little town outside of Cardiff. You can see Cardiff in the distance. This is just two short bus trips away. Low tide. The bay has the second greatest tide variance in the world after the Bay of Fundy. I'm proud to say my children have been to both.
Row houses in an English town. Lovely.
Salisbury Cathedral. With tourists. Pretty amazing.

And there's more to come, Patty. I get lost in all the names from the Crystal Cave and the like--we've got Segontium, the Roman fortress, Bardsey Island which is supposed to be Avalon, Tintagel, and others.
