Random pics from the weekend

Quiet weekend in Cardiff. Saturday, the weather was beautiful. We went to city centre and did a little shopping (See the Imperial Storm Trooper at the cd store, below. Kieron would NOT pose with him). And some walking in the park downtown. (See one of the castle wall guardians above.)

This is a view of the Millenium Stadium from the park.
Then we went to Cardiff Bay. This is a view of the Millenium Center. In Welsh and English, the dedication reads "In these stones, horizons sing." The Welsh are poets. More on that later.
This is the view of Cardiff Bay from the Norwegian Church where Roald Dahl was baptised. You can see the Welsh Assembly hall on the right. I'll return to the bay soon for daylight pics.
Finally, an addendum to Peace Day. These are Bishop of Llandaff youth who presented at the Peace Day forum. Yay for young peaceniks!
